HCRN seeks Accounting Clerk

Hoosier Cancer Research Network (HCRN) is hiring an accounting clerk to join our finance team.

JOB DESCRIPTION
• Manage full cycle accounts payable including invoice review, coding, check requests, approvals, data entry, filing and mailing.
• Enter Accounts Receivable invoices into Sage accounting system.
• Assist with month-end close including journal entries and financial audit schedules.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date vendor files and reconcile vendor accounts.
• Update clinical trial tracking spreadsheets to record payments.
• Assist with processing quarterly cycle payments for sites.
• Annual audit preparation.
• General ledger reconciliation and resolution of payment issues.
• Assist with Sunshine Act reporting.
• Research outstanding checks.
• Request invoices and W-9’s from DSMB/DSMC members.
• Prepare and send study termination letters to vendors.
• Assist Senior Accountant with special projects.
• Order office supplies.
• Other duties as assigned.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as computer software and documentation and procedure manuals. Will have the ability to write routine reports and business correspondence.

REASONING ABILITY:
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete issues. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
