The University of Notre Dame will confer an honorary Doctor of Science degree on Hoosier Cancer Research Network (HCRN) co-founder Rafat Ansari, MD, at its 180th University Commencement Ceremony on May 18. A South Bend Community Hall of Fame inductee, Dr. Ansari has been a community leader in hematology and oncology for more than four decades. As a co-founder of HCRN, he was instrumental in streamlining the clinical trials process for cancer patients.
