This month, Hoosier Cancer Research Network features our member institution Summit Health Cancer Center in Florham Park, New Jersey, and David Gallinson, DO, a medical oncologist.

Research Interests and Expertise:

In addition to seeing a broad range of disease states, Dr. Gallinson has special research interests including gastrointestinal cancers, blood disorders, lymphoma, and genitourinary cancers. He believes clinical trials have the dual benefit of advancing medical science and offering cutting-edge therapeutic options to patients resulting in improved outcomes and quality of life.

• His awards include the Lester Granet Humanitarian Award, the Golden Apple Award in Teaching and Resident of the Year, Morristown Memorial Hospital.
• When he is not working with patients, he enjoys playing tennis, jogging and spending time with his family.

The organization provides comprehensive clinical trial management and support, from conception through publication.
