Investigator Spotlight: Maitri Kalra, MD
This month, Hoosier Cancer Research Network (HCRN) highlights the IU Health Ball Memorial Cancer Center as a featured member of our network. Maitri Kalra, MD, a medical oncologist at the cancer center, shares her research interests in this spotlight.
Research Interests:
I am interested in clinical research in breast cancer and lung cancer. I am also involved with research with an online oncologist community called themednet.org and run a virtual NCI cancer center tumor board program with various NCI-CCC sites.

Facts about Dr. Kalra:
- I have a 5 month old daughter and a 5 year old son.
- When I am not working, I love to cook and spend time with my family.
